FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is there a free trial?

No. The Launch tier is permanently free — that's your trial. You don't enter a credit card to try Vulu. You enter one when you decide to upgrade, and not before.

What happens when I cancel a paid plan?

Your subscription ends at the end of your current billing period. Your account reverts to Launch (Free). You keep your 5 most recent videos visible; the rest are archived for 90 days. Re-subscribe within that window and everything is restored exactly as it was.

Will my price ever go up?

Not for you. Vulu locks in your rate when you subscribe. If we raise prices, that's for new subscribers — you keep paying what you signed up at, for as long as you stay subscribed.

Do you offer refunds?

Annual plans: 30-day no-questions-asked refund on your first annual purchase. After 30 days, you can cancel anytime but we don't pro-rate the rest of the year.

Monthly plans: Cancel anytime, takes effect at end of current month. We don't refund the month you used.

How does the upload limit work on Launch?

2 new uploads per month, resetting on the 1st. Deleting a video doesn't refill the allowance — the cap is on uploads, not library size. So you can curate, but you can't churn 5 videos in and out infinitely on free.

Do I get a discount as a veteran?

Yes. Verified U.S. veterans get 30% off Creator and Network plans, lifetime, verified through ID.me. (Coming at launch.)

Can I export my library?

Always. Full library export — videos, metadata, channel structure — available anytime in account settings.

What if I delete a video by accident?

Soft delete with 7-day recovery on Launch, 14-day on Creator. Restore from your Trash before it's gone for good.

What devices does Vulu work on?

Any modern web browser. That means: your phone, your laptop, your tablet, and — most importantly — your TV. Open vulutv.com in your TV's browser, sign in with a code from your phone, and you're in.

How do I sign in on my TV?

Open vulutv.com in your TV's browser. We show you a 6-digit code. Type that code at vulutv.com/activate on your phone or laptop. You're signed in on the TV. No keyboard juggling with a remote.

Is Vulu YouTube? Vimeo? Loom?

None of those. YouTube is public, ad-driven, and algorithmic — a discovery firehose. Vimeo is for video hosting and pro creators. Loom is for screen recordings at work. Vulu is the things you actually do — the videos you actually use — on the biggest screen in your house. It's the channel between everyone else's noise.
